Sethness-Roquette involves all its staff in its constant efforts to improve its corporate management system which covers various aspects: quality, the safety of persons and property, the security of the site, and the safety of foodstuffs and the environment.

Respecting an ethic
As a responsible supplier, Sethness-Roquette has created a "Code of Conduct" for current and future suppliers (suppliers, subcontractors, consultants, agents, other suppliers of goods and services, etc.). The aim of this Code of Conduct is to provide rules concerning activities and commercial interactions with Sethness-Roquette employees. These commercial practices must be carried out in total compliance with current laws, and adhere to the principles of integrity and honesty.
It is based on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the principles of the UN Global Compact and the general principles of the International Labour Organisation.
Perfectly controlled food safety
As a responsible player in the food processing chain, Sethness-Roquette controls the risks associated with food safety. The company has set up a system enabling it to produce and distribute Caramels known to be safe for consumers' health.
Our Caramels have undergone a comprehensive regulatory assessment, and are used without risk throughout the world. All our Caramel Colours comply with the purity requirements defined by regulations.
The safety of Sethness-Roquette products is ensured in particular by applying HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) principles, which define the control of microbiological, physical and chemical risks in different product lines.
Sethness-Roquette has also been FSSC 22000 certified since 2011.
The hygiene and safety of our products
Production and storage facilities have been designed according to the nature and application of each product. Regulations regarding human nutrition are factored from the design phase of new installations, making it possible to control product quality risks.
The staff comply with internal good hygiene practices throughout the manufacturing process.
Operations and implementations are registered at each stage to meet traceability requirements.
Protecting the environment
Environmental protection is another priority for Sethness-Roquette, particularly as it concerns the treatment of effluents, the elimination of waste and the reduction of its energy consumption.
Sethness-Roquette obtained ISO 14001 certification in 2015
Sethness-Roquette's environmental policy is based on the following principles:

- the control of environmental parameters and well-managed discharge treatment,
- the reduction of waste and the recycling of sub-products generated by the activity,

Sethness-Roquette Caramels are naturally biodegradable and cause no danger to the environment.
In addition, the company is equipped with a plant for wastewater and gaseous discharge treatment.
